Mixer Operator

The Mixer Operator performs general production duties to support Manufacturing goals that align with production scheduling, continuous improvement, standard operating procedures and safety initiatives.

Essential Duties

Operate Mixing equipment to manufacture company products by following SOP. Must make product within customer specifications. Prepare and setup raw materials per batch card specifications. Prepare product samples for QC Department this includes in-process and final product testing. When needed, move rejected and re-work materials to proper storage areas as directed by the QC Department Discharge finished products to correct storage and shipping containers and label according to SOP. Then move finished goods to appropriate locations in warehouse. Use forklift and other hand tools in a safe manner, following company policies and procedures Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED. Must possess basic math skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for the majority of an 8 hour day. Heavy lifting and excellent attendance are required. Must be able to work Overtime as needed
