Suzuki Motor Cooperation is preparing a vehicle of "Team SUZUKI CN CHALLENGE GSX-R1000R" by using the 40% bio-sourced Sustainable Fuel and multiple new sustainable components such as tires, oils, fairings and brakes to achieve improved environmental performance by overcoming various difficulties with a machine crossing the finish line of SUZUKA 8 Hours.
Sunstar has provided its brake discs and pads to many of the top racing teams that compete in the world's top motorcycle races. Sunstar fully agrees with Suzuki's proposal for such a great partnership and provides environmentally conscious brake discs and pads with great performance.
Sunstar non-heat treated discs can reduce CO2 emissions by half because they don't require the heat treatment process normally required to make discs. This disc also has special dimples on its surface that provide cleaning pad action and anti-crack ability.
Sunstar low-dust pads contain no copper and have 15% less dust.
These items are now in development to be available in time for the July race and for future production models.
